About Us

We are a family who, had to leave our home in Ukraine in 2023 and start a new life in Canada. Settling in Kingston, we were grateful for the safety and new beginnings—but one thing remained the same: our deep love for traditional Ukrainian food.

From the very beginning, we missed the familiar tastes of home—borscht, varenyky, homemade pastries. We tried to adapt to the local food culture, but nothing could replace the comfort of our native cuisine. Ukrainian products were only available in larger cities like Toronto, making it difficult not just for us, but for many Ukrainian families who had also settled in Kingston and the surrounding areas.

That’s how the idea for our store was born. We wanted to create a place where anyone could find familiar products, reconnect with the flavors of home, and feel a little closer to their roots—even while living far away.

Our mission is more than just offering food—we hope to bring a little joy, warmth, and a sense of home to every table we reach.
